Lao Gao BBQ in Flushing is hands down one of my favorite late-night spots. The cumin lamb skewers are absolutely delicious — tender, smoky, and packed with flavor. I also loved the grilled seafood and cold dishes. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. The service was quick, and the vibe feels just like a street BBQ place back in China. Will definitely be coming back again and agai If you’re looking for authentic Chinese BBQ in Flushing, Lao Gao BBQ is the place to go! Every dish we ordered was fantastic, especially the lamb skewers and grilled eggplant. Great flavors, generous portions, and fair prices. Perfect for hanging out with friends.

I recently visited Gao’s BBQ & Crab in Flushing and had a fantastic experience. The Chinese BBQ and seafood offerings were flavorful and well-seasoned, with a wide variety of skewers — from juicy chicken and tender beef to delicious seafood options — all cooked perfectly and packed with taste. The portions were generous and filling, and the cocktails complemented the food really well. The overall atmosphere was lively and enjoyable, making it a great place to hang out with friends or family.  The staff were friendly and attentive, and the restaurant had a fun, welcoming vibe that made our visit even better. One of the top three BBQ spots in Flushing for a reason! The food is absolutely delicious, with generous portions at very affordable prices. All the seafood is live and super fresh, which really makes a difference. I was especially happy to find cold noodles here — and after 6:30 pm, you can get unlimited refills, which is amazing. Great quality, great value, and totally worth it. Highly recommend!

If you’re in Queens and craving a seriously good feast, Gao’s BBQ & Crab is the move. We went big with the Snow White Crab combo with dandan noodles and buns which was perfect for sharing. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and perfect for sharing. 🦀🔥 The skewers were juicy and well-seasoned, the ingredients tasted just right, and the portions were generous — exactly what you want when you’re eating out with friends or family. The staff is warm and welcoming, the atmosphere makes it easy to relax, and the deals are unreal — from $1–$2 skewers during happy hour to $3.99 cold noodles with unlimited refills, this place hits the value and the flavor. 🍢🍜🤤 Highly recommended if you’re looking for a fun, flavorful meal in Queens!

I didn’t expect to find such good Cajun seafood at Lao Gao BBQ, but it really surprised me. I ordered the time limited $88 menu. The portion is huge. The lobster tail and snow crab legs were fresh and sweet, soaked in a rich buttery Cajun sauce with potatoes, corn, and sausage. We also ordered a bunch of skewers like wagyu, chicken, and garlic-wrapped intestines, and everything was juicy and flavorful. Service was quick, which made it dangerously easy to keep adding more food. The free bucket of sunflower seeds kept us chatting for hours without even noticing time pass lol
