There should be a 10 start option. This place never disappoints. From the margaritas at happy hour to Tarta de Santiago. The food, the staff and the place is just amazing. My fave tapas are the stuffed mushroom, pulpo a la gallega, sirloin stake and the Tarta de Santiago are just chef kiss! Try their Agua de Valencia and Sangrias as well. Thank you for all the good service and food.
NO THANKS I went to GALACIA TAPAS in Inwood Saturday night The restaurant is inviting and very clean. I sat at the bar and ordered a margarita and broiled / baked see scallops. I don’t want to remember how much I paid and willingly continue to suppress the memory. One dollar would have been waaay too much. I’m sure the scallops are reconstituted I am packed Super Bowls from the 60s. Just add water and you have scallops GALACIA TAPAS GAG ME The vibe was weird and I’m getting the creeps writing this HARD PASS HERE
Came here on a quiet Saturday afternoon. It was good to see an A rating on the door. We were greeted and welcomed and could choose to sit anywhere. There was a nice vibe to this place and everything was organized and well lit from the sun too. The large windows helped. We were able to watch the basketball game during dinner so that was a plus. The server was efficient and pleasant. She brought us some empanadas on the house. They were delicious. We all enjoyed our food. The croquettes and cod fritters didn’t taste like they were made the day of but we were so hungry we demolished them anyway. The coffee was fresh and the red snapper was seasoned to perfection and our salads were bright green served with a house vinaigrette dressing. The experience was just what we needed on a good day. I absolutely loved this place! Their food is fantastic and their staff is super attentive. Very relaxing atmosphere to enjoy food and drinks over great conversation. Will definitely be returning!
Had the Tortilla española but had to add salt and butter since it was bland for my taste. Also had fish and it was very tasty. The staff was great but sadly a group was celebrating an event and they were loud and allowed their kid to make a mess, which wasn't fair to the staff . Will return to try the Soap Gallega.
