Nice little spot that just opened 2 weeks ago! Straightforward menu with some off-menu items on a bulletin board at the entrance of their shop. They only had 1 sake in store at the time but their drinks menu looked fairly priced. The sashimi / nigiri items are priced PER piece so don't overlook that before you order! I got an arrangement of the must haves (salmon, hamachi, ahi, scallop, unagi hand roll) and all items were very tasty and seemed to be cut well. We also ordered a chashu ramen and chicken karaage - the karaage was very tasty though the serving was slightly small. The ramen in my opinion was decent, the broth was slightly sweet(?) to me but the pork was very good and tender. Definitely want to come back again to try the XLB on their menu. Wishing them a happy success and openin
We were so excited to try this new ramen spot in Vancouver and were not disappointed! My favorite were the Gyoza and mussels, and both were incredibly flavorful and fresh. The service was excellent, and the ramen was delicious. We most definitely will have to go back to try other items on the menu. A great addition to the local food scene!
Great place to eat and ramen is one of best tasting around if not best 😋 the chashu yum
Just happened by this little place today and took a chance. The staff were polite and attentive. The prices were fair and appropriate to what they offered. The food was deliciousand I look forward to visiting again soon!
This review only reflects quality at soft opening. Garlic ramen and creamy scallop was the highlight. Broth was hot and flavorful. Noodle was too soft. Probably about 30-40 seconds overcooked. Char-Siu was tender and have balanced fat. Soft boil egg was close to perfect. Regarding onigiri, rice was cooked right but about 20% too much in volume. Scallop was sweet. Softshell crab was so-so. Beer was priced fairly. Would be back in a couple months.
