Flavors and cook were good on all dishes. Service was excellent, our server was very knowledgeable and helpful. Atmosphere was really neat including historical items. Our server told us about the history and invited us to walk through the upper area of the original building while we waited for our food. Recommend.
My coworker and I were on a work trip across PA and were looking for a place to eat. We came across this place not understanding that it was part of an Omni hotel. With only a tshirt and shorts, my friend wearing an anime shirt, we entered the property and nobody even batted an eye to us not being dressed properly for the occasion. (Most were actually dressed in nice formal attire). We were seated and greeted by very kind service. Their burgers with honey on the side have to be #1 for the best burger I’ve ever had. We finished eating and found giant chess outside, played two games, and were on our way to where we were going. I highly recommend checking out this place
Frontier Tavern was a great place for us since we were already staying at the Inn. Food was delicious, our server was friendly. We all had salmon, chicken, burger and crab cake sandwich. Go with plain risotto, do try their fries! Sitting near the windows can get a little cool during this time. We did walk inn but reservation is recommended.
I am a little tough to please when it comes to steak and great food. I was pleasantly delighted with the lomo saltado. It was perfectly cooked to the temperature I asked for and the steak flavor was delicious. The chimichurri and amarillo sauce was the tastiest I’ve had and paired really well with the steak. I got rice instead of the fries and thought that all worked well. We got both the sweet potato fries and regular fries for the table. Both were so, so good! Wine was also good and service was excellent. Highly recommend!
We recently had dinner at Bedford Springs’ Frontier Tavern. While we’ve usually had great experiences there, this visit was a bit of a disappointment. For a starter, we got the Hatch chili nachos. they were good, but the queso was a bit grainy. Definitely acceptable though. I ordered the smoked beef and cheese sandwich, which unfortunately fell short of expectations. The sandwich was a bit of a disaster to eat, as the cheese came in the form of a sauce. The flavor and texture of the beef was decent, but the beef was thinly sliced and was reminiscent of Arby’s. The bread was very good. On a more positive note, the sweet potato fries were excellent. It was crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. However, the side of coleslaw was underwhelming. It looked hastily prepared, with the cabb
