Chancellor's House Bed and Breakfast

Gorgeous house and over the top hospitality and charm from the hosts. We only stayed one night, just passing through, but we hope to come back for 2 nights. Carol gathered us in the gorgeous library with a fire and made introductions, provide wine and charcuterie, and made all of us feel right at home. The house itself is gorgeous (our bathroom tile - wow). Lovely state parks all around here, hoping to make it back for longer. Thanks Carol!

The Chancellor's House and its wonderful owners/hosts, Carol and Battle, easily met and exceeded our expectations. And those expectations where primed rather high by reading all those excellent past reviews. | |Note that Google Maps directs you to an arrival point on the 'S Juliana St' side of the house. But parking area is actually besides a carriage house accessible from the 'E Watson St' side.

We went to Bedford, PA for our 44th anniversary, since we had heard good things about the town. We decided to stay at the Chancellor's House Bed and Breakfast, and it turned out to be a terrific choice!|The B&B is conveniently located to lots of things to do (5 -10 minute walk), and driving to areas we wanted to visit was never more than 12 minutes away. We did not get to see Bedford Springs and a couple of more places, so we'll be back.|Staying at this B&B, however, topped off the visit. The House itself is excellent, with two sitting rooms and a dining area, and our room was large, airy, and very comfortable. The owners/hosts are delightful, always displaying concern for our comfort, and very helpful in accommodating diet restrictions with breakfast. The breakfasts, by the way, were

My brothers and our spouses visit at the lovely Chancellor House each year. We travel from West Virginia, New York and Ohio to share a special weekend that we look forward to all year. The hosts are delightful and the food is spectacular. I follow a plant based diet and Carol comes up with the most creative, healthy and yummy breakfasts for me! Bedford is a lovely little town with a lot to see and places to explore. There are nice little shops and local eateries , all within walking distance! We've enjoyed every stay!

Beautiful Home! Outstanding Host: Carol and Battle… interesting conversation, stories, wine and refreshments. We stayed in Dogwood Room and it was very clean. The breakfast was exceptional. Will definitely be back… Thank you Carol and Battle for an awesome experience. Rob and Rosa!!
