~April 2025 If I lived closer, I would be here every other week if not every week. The Fried Chicken is delicious and only $11.00!!! Cooked just right. Juicy. Great flavored skin. Great Service. ~Jan 2025 Incredibly Friendly Server. She was so happy and great spirit about her and so friendly and kind to our group. The meals were so good we ordered second meals to go.

A very busy place at lunchtime. The food was awesome. I especially liked the real creamy homemade mashed potatoes and the greens were so tender they almost melt in your mouth. I wasn't impressed by my fried trout. Not much flavor. Maybe that's the way trout is. I'd definitely go back again.

Places like this are one of the reasons coming back home is enjoyable. While many restaurants look for ways to cut costs at the expense of good food, Fred's keeps good food a priority. A long time favorite of locals and visitors alike, Fred's offers true comfort food, great service and they even have a full bar. My wife and I hadn't been there in a while, but it was just as good as we remembered and hopefully we won't be as long between visits again.

What a quaint place! Love the atmosphere! Food was delicious! We ordered the pork tenderloin and open face turkey sandwich. AMAZING! Didn't have room for dessert but took a piece of coconut pie togo... yummy!!! Thank you for an amazing experience!

Small town place we stopped at during a rode trip. We were greeted immediately once we entered, coffee came out hot and fresh immediately. Nice Rustic design, fun atmosphere. Food was amazing; service was amazing. A must stop.
