Freddy's Restaurant

Came here on a Thursday evening after seeing a few TikTok videos recommending this restaurant and Freddy’s definitely lives up to the hype! On thursdays they offer $10 martinis and $0.75 wings. Food was tasty, service was attentive and drinks were great! Love the ambiance, and will have to return to try their other dishes !

I've been here in 2023 and 2025 and had the Tavern Burger both times. I couldn't find the old desserts from 2023 on the 2025 menu though, so I kind of miss the home-made pop-tart. The new caramel brownie is pretty amazing too though.

I don’t review a ton, but this place is worth it. Starting with the food, it is consistent and some of the best eats in a solid Pleasantville food scene. The drinks are uniquely crafted, with some spices and aromas that elevate the experience. The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable. I would recommend sitting at the bar if you don’t make a reservation. The owner is engaging and funny. The homemade fig bourbon is an A+. We will continue to come back again and again!

Service was friendly and welcoming, and it was nice to see the owner actively working the bar - they even comp’d us a round of drinks, which was so nice of them and appreciated. The menu delivers straightforward classics and everything tasted as described, but most dishes arrived only lukewarm. Overall the experience felt average: pleasant people, acceptable food, but not memorable enough to seek out again.

We went to Freddy’s on a recommendation and I’m so glad we did! The food was amazing. We went with all our waiter’s suggestions and he was spot on. Started. With the Arancini which was very creamy in the inside with a nice crunch on the outside , delicious. For our main course the waiter suggested the Tavern burger and the French Onion short rib. My husband said his burger was fantastic and the short rib was one of the best I’ve had. Very flavorful and tender. The potato gratin had a great top layer of cheese that was crispy and the onion rings were also nice and crispy and not greasy at all. We ended the meal with one of my favorites, key lime pie which was perfectly creamy and tart, definitely enjoyed it. They also have a nice drink menu to choose from and place has a nice casual homey v
