This place is amazing!! The filet mignon was cooked perfectly for me, medium, and was seasoned and juicy. You could cut it with a butter knife it was so tender. I have been here many times and all of their food has been delicious. I love their chicken parmigiana and the spaghetti sauce is homemade, so good!! Definitely recommend!!
We ate early, so there was plenty of choice to seating. This is a large establishment. Tables, booths and bar seating. Lighting is dim. Server was very pleasant and just the right amount of attentiveness. Food was tasty .
Fratelli’s is a once-a-year tradition for my family and I when we take the kids to the Polar Express. So, we likely see the restaurant during their holiday rush. With that in mind, it seems a bit more competitive to get a reservation, so we will definitely keep that in mind for next year, since we don’t want to give up this coveted tradition! This year, our visit was just as satisfying as we remember. We order an array of appetizers, and highly recommend the calamari and crab dip most of all. Each of us ordered something different, from pizza to Bolognese to eggplant Parmesan. Very tasty and nice and hot. Portions are very fair, we even had some to take home. My husband ate his seasonal creme brûlée, in-house, which was divine. The burnt almond torte cake was so highly recommended by our
Fratelli’s is a go-to in the area for a nice meal or just a date night. I confess, it is always a runner-up choice for us compared to Ottaviani’s down town. In that comparison though, Fratelli’s consistent and slightly earlier hours are a win. As to the food- it is top notch with some exceptions. I loved the Bolognese on our recent visit, but “special spices” seems to include nutmeg… which is bizarre and almost ruined the experience- I liked the other flavors, and would like to order it again, but the nutmeg flavor is really a deterrent. Appetizers- Roma bruschetta hit the spot with freshness and great balance between garlic and good olive oil. My wife’s meal was excellent- no complaints. Lava cake was good but small and pricey considering it looked like it came pre-fab from somepla
My wife and I received top of the line customer service from Aisa. This provided the best 23rd anniversary dinner date a great experience. We look forward to seeing her again on our next visit!
