Having the most soul-satisfying lunch at Franco’s Italian Restaurant in Mechanicsville, VA—and I’m still smiling. The garlic knots were warm and buttery, the pasta was perfectly al dente, and the marinara? Pure comfort in a bowl. And the cherry on top? They were playing all the classic Christmas tunes—Sinatra, Nat King Cole, a little Bing Crosby. My grand girl and I stopped in for lunch after doing a little shopping. Onion rings, small cheese pizza. Both were excellent. The simple cheese pizza had a chewy crust with a crispy exterior. The pizza sauce had deep rich authentic Italian flavor. The lightly battered onion rings were fried to crispy crunchy perfection! The best I've had in many years. Our waiter was just the right amount of attentive. We'll be back!!

Me and my husband stopped in just because it was right next to target and we were starving. I’m so glad we did. This might be the best tortellini alfredo I’ve ever had. The garlic knots were also delicious! The pasta entrees come with a salad and two garlic knots so it was a great deal for the price. I definitely will be back to try more things!

Really stellar pizza. The white pizza with spinach and chicken, and the Hawaiian are my favorite. The crust is thin and has a really nice crip, and the center is soft and pillowy. Their red sauce is also delicious.
