Forrest Rednour Hall - Main Coast Guard Dining Facility

Christmas dinner was outstanding - ham, steak, sides.. even egg nog and bread pudding. These folks made my day so much better. And quantity/quality for the price is unbeatable. A big thank you to the staff and chefs!

The food here is great! We often leave our Army base to head to the Coast Guard Base to eat. The quality of food, the taste, and the atmosphere beats the Army dining facility hands down.

Food is pretty good, can't beat the price for how much you get. Salad bar is really tasty and all the drinks and desserts your little heart desires. I challenge anyone to get the same meal for even twice the price they charge!

I came through “A” school in 2009. Ive eaten every holiday meal you could have in this galley back then. I came back for a “C” school in 2018 and since the incorporation of blue-suiters, the food has NEVER been this good. People in our service will always talk about how the FLETC galley is “the best galley food they’ve ever had.” Well that’s just because they haven’t been to Yorktown recently.

I ate dinner there today between working on the chillers and chill water system that keeps the building cool and comfortable. Excellent food and GREAT staff. Yum Yum Fish Friday.
