Foodies Diner

This diner feels like home the second you walk in. The atmosphere is cozy, inviting, and full of that classic “small town comfort” vibe. The staff treats you like family — attentive, friendly, and genuinely happy to make sure you’re taken care of. The service is fantastic: quick without feeling rushed, and everyone goes above and beyond to make your meal perfect. The food tastes just like a home-cooked meal, hearty and full of flavor. You can tell there’s real care behind everything they serve. If you’re looking for a place where you can relax, enjoy great food, and feel completely welcomed, this is the spot. Absolutely deserves all 5 stars!

While meandering around our local neighborhood, my husband and I stumbled upon this tiny diner and gave it a try. We're so glad we did, because this hole in the wall turned out to be a diamond in the rough. With a nondescript exterior and limited signage, Foodies Diner is easy to miss. It's in an area with mainly houses and mixed use commercial buildings, but the space inside is cozy. I especially appreciated the way the owner greeted everyone who enters and thanked everyone who leaves with notable warmth and small-town friendliness. The menu reads like a true diner - with all-day breakfast and brunch options, as well as standard lunch fare. I really enjoyed my visit to Foodies. The atmosphere was welcoming, the food was fantastic, and the portions were very generous. I had the French toast, and it came with a very large portion of bacon. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The service was excellent, and the owner, Teddy, was wonderful and made the experience even better. All around a great spot, and I would absolutely love to go back the next time I’m in Jersey

Came by on a Saturday for brunch at around 11. The restaurant isn't that big but it wasn't too packed at that time. To start you off, they give you some complimentary french toast bites. I normally am not a huge fan of french toast, but these were really good. We ordered some disco fries to share because after six years of living in Jersey, I don't think I've ever had disco fries (GASP)! They were good but you have to eat them quickly because they cool off fast, which makes the cheese kind of chunky. For the entree, I had a Philly cheesesteak panini and upgraded to onion rings. The meat was kind of dry, and the bread seemed more like pita bread than panini. The onion rings were great though. Loved the atmosphere and the service! Went for brunch on Saturday and it was great. Definitely want to go back and try the other dishes! Peanut butter & jelly shake: loved this!! A nice balance between the peanut butter and the fruit flavor! Buffalo chicken omelette: overall a solid omelette, nice kick with the Buffalo sauce, the bleu cheese chunks were pretty intense Short stack of pancakes: these seemed a bit heavy to me Red velvet waffle: the batter was also pretty heavy on these, but I did love that even though there were red velvet cake pieces IN the waffle, it wasn’t overly sweet. If the batter is lighter in the future I’ll definitely order it again! Grilled cheese & waffle fries: waffle fries were very crispy and on point! And the grilled cheese was perfect. Brought me back to
