visited Flour and Weirdoughs in Key Biscayne this past Saturday for Valentine’s Day, and it was absolutely amazing! As a true foodie, I don’t say this lightly — this has to be one of the best breakfast spots in Miami. My mom and I both loved the eggs (so fresh and perfectly done!), and everything tasted thoughtfully made and high quality. The service was just as wonderful — so kind, welcoming, and attentive. It made the whole experience even sweeter. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing something to-go while driving through Key Biscayne, this bakery is an absolute must. We’re already excited to go back and try more of the menu!

We had an amazing experience. The pancakes are delicious, the breakfast sandwiches are 10/10, and the cinnamon roll was one of the best i’ve ever had. This became my favorite breakfast spot! Juan was also so nice and attentive, we can’t wait to come back.

Not sure why this place even lists dine-in as an option. The restaurant is not functional for dining. The space is messy and dirty. Chairs are broken and covered in bird 💩, and there’s no real seating area you can comfortably use. You order at a window and receive your food in takeout boxes, which makes the dine-in option completely misleading. On top of that, the prices are extremely high for the quality and “service” you get. I ordered eggs very well done and was served eggs that were completely runny. I showered the cashier the runny yolk and explained that I specifically do not eat runny eggs. Her response was, “oh, it’s a little runny.” After asking them to cook it properly, the eggs came back still fully runny (see photo).

I was very excited to try their croissants after seeing the kitchen setup, but unfortunately was not a huge fan. They felt heavy, almost like the dough was weighed down by the butter. The breakfast was decent and the grapefruit was lovely, except it was not pre-cut and we were only given to-go plastic silverware, which made eating it close to impossible. I also got a golden milk, which had a generous amount of foam, but lacked the strong spiced flavor typically found in golden milks - it fell a bit flat.

If you’re in Miami, a stop at Flour and Weird Dough in Key Biscayne is an absolute must. Their country bread, made with natural fermentation, has the perfect balance of a crisp crust and airy crumb, while their croissant rivals the best in Paris with its delicate, buttery layers. But the magic doesn’t stop there—their brunch menu is one of the best in town. From the rich and flavorful eggs a la huancaína to the perfectly spiced Turkish eggs and fluffy blueberry pancakes, every bite is unforgettable. The Jess sandwich, served on the softest brioche, is another must-try. And whatever you do, don’t leave without trying their chagaccino—it’s truly unbeatable. Don’t walk—run to Flour and Weird Dough; you won’t regret it!
