My friend and I went to Papa Joe's for lunch. We got the guacamole as an appetizer. It was served with plantain chips and three yucca cakes. The guacamole was fresh and delicious. My entree was the blackened shrimp tacos, and my friend got the bibb salad. We were both extremely happy with our meals. Our server, Cruz, was attentive professional and polite. The view was spectacular.

The food is great. Everglades style Grouper, baked oysters, and the ceviche were some of our highlights for our meal. Don’t skip the homemade chocolate cake with ice cream. Heather was our waitress and she was excellent. Love the whole vibe of the place!!!

I went for an early dinner. The strawberry cocktail special was good along with the crab cake. Then, things started to fall off. The little gem Caesar Salad was not as described. They tried to give it to me with mesclun greens instead of Little Gem lettuce and never said anything about that until I asked. I'm sorry, but that is not a Caesar salad. I refused the salad. Them my blackened fish came along with the cauliflower gratin. The gratin was cold and the fish wasn't cooked enough. I refused both, had a glass of Sancerre, and left disappointed and hungry. It was a very unfortunate night for us both.

Plenty of dock space to arrive by boat or parking for cars - great turf area for corn hole and lounging in the sun

New spot we are excited is open in Islamorada!! Top notch spot from the docking to the whole place!! Beautiful dining room and a top notch tiki bar. The service is flawless, bartenders with knowledge of the beers, and food and a happy vibe. Wings were amazing on the bar menu and food inside was upscale with the chill keys vibe. I can’t say enough good things about Papa Joe’s.
