Flavia's Cucina Romana

We were craving authentic Italian food and googled it only to find this hidden gem! Flavia's Cucina Romana is named for the owners mother. The owner Andrea is adorable, genuine and attentive. First rate service. She even texted me to confirm our reservations. We dined on Thursday. It is a relatively new restaurant in Asbury Park, in business only 3 years. It is absolutely fantastic! The owner Andrea is amazing! This is truly authentic Rome Italy cuisine! You will not be disappointed. BYOB! The staff are incredible. Nicole is a great head chef and manager and Angelis was a wonderful waitress. Even the bathroom was beautiful! Amazing place. Love the open kitchen. Can't wait to go back!

Everything was absolutely excellent at Flavia’s! From the warm atmosphere to the perfectly prepared dishes, the experience was top-notch. The food was fresh, authentic, and full of flavor you can really taste the care that goes into every plate. A special shoutout to our server, Ava, who was truly amazing — friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Her recommendations were spot on and made our evening even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for an authentic Roman dining experience!

Flavia's has a beautiful, warm, inviting atmosphere and our waitress was very friendly. There menu is a collection of rustic, yet elegant Italian dishes. We shared the meatballs, which were flavored really well and served in a rich marinara. The fennel and orange salad was so good. It was light and refreshing. For my entree I had the Cacio e Pepe Pasta. It was rich, creamy and peppery. I really enjoyed it. I definitely recommend a visit here. Flavia's is great for a casual, but intimate meal.

We recently had the pleasure of hosting a baby shower at Flavia’s and were so impressed - we would recommend to anyone who is looking for a space to host an event! Leading up to the event, Andrea helped to answer all of our questions and prepare for the day to make it as special as possible. The morning of, she and the staff were extremely helpful - setting the tables, the bar area and decorations where needed. The space accommodated all of our guests nicely, the tables were set beautifully and the ambiance of the restaurant was perfect for an afternoon brunch. The food was absolutely delicious and we look forward to dining there soon again!

We hosted our rehearsal dinner here and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the start, Flavia's was incredibly easy to work with—Andrea was amazing and so accommodating throughout the planning process. On the day of the event, Flavia's took care of everything seamlessly, which let us truly relax and enjoy the night. The food and service was outstanding—10/10—and our guests are still raving about it. We can’t wait to come back for dinner!
