Five Guys

When I went in, there were only a few customers, all already seated and eating. There were three employees—one cooking and two cleaning. The young man cleaning the lobby took my order quickly and went right back to cleaning. The other person cleaning didn’t assist with the order at all. I ordered a patty melt (the grilled cheese cheeseburger) and a milkshake. The young lady cooking stopped everything she was doing to make my burger, and I had it within three minutes. The milkshake, however, took 30 minutes. They were cleaning with chemicals at the same time they were cooking, and the young lady who was told to make my milkshake kept saying “yes” but never actually made it. I arrived to pick up my mobile order and was immediately disappointed by the service. Several staff members noticed me waiting but chose to ignore me, even after I politely asked about my order. I ended up standing there for about five minutes before someone finally handed me my food. The entire team seemed disorganized and overwhelmed, and multiple customers around me were visibly frustrated due to the lack of attention. By the time I got my order, I was annoyed but still hoping the food would make up for it. Unfortunately, it didn’t. The fries were cold and soggy, clearly having sat out for far too long while the staff scrambled to make a new batch. The food is always great. Five Guys does a great job mass producing their food. The price is outrageous though. $22.85 for a burger, small fry and a shake.🤯

Due to the inability to cook the burgers anything but well done, the meat tastes like cardboard. I just ate the last burger I will ever have at 5 guys. I wouldn’t feed their well-done burger to a dog.

Really just writing this review for David who works the register. Absolutely love his energy. Calling out patties and orders like he’s selling hot dogs at a baseball game. Give that kid a raise! Clean store. Hardworking staff. Good food.
