Tony's Seafood: Retail Market

A great selection of fish and shellfish, all clearly labelled to show their origin (geographic, fresh/framed). They have a bountiful supply of all the local items you'd expect like clams, oysters, quahogs, little necks and lobsters. It's really easy parking and the staff are friendly and helpful.

I've had positive experiences here plenty of times, but I've also had two negative ones. Most recently we picked up shrimp that was not only old, but tasted like it was stored improperly. You could taste an open refridgerator taste on them, and they were still in the shells which should be even fresher. I never post negative reviews but I think it's so important they just pull product when its no longer fresh. The staff isn't always super friendly but who cares if the product is good. I am so dissapointed to have to search elsewhere. On the other side, whole foods shrimp is always compltely fresh and some of the best most consistent quality ive ever found. Id much rather support local though.

I've been coming here for a while and I love it. Not only is the fish really fresh with a terrific selection, but they also have lots of artisanal foods from Spain, Italy and Portugal, and a small but really well thought out local micro brew selection and reasonably priced wines. The staff is great and helpful. They always give my little daughter a lollipop, and she loves their homemade fish cakes. The cold smoked salmon and smoked scallops are also out of this world. Plus they have tinned fish from Spain, Portuguese chorizo, and a small selection of fresh vegetables. It's really all you need.

Went in to buy fish for a neighbor who did a favor for me. He would not accept a cash present but I think he likes fish. Store placed fish in a container instead of in paper. It was a nicer presentation.

This is our go to place for seafood! First time last yr I decided to try their platters, and I can tell you, it was absolutely delicious!
