Absolutely wonderful! I order the seafood platter and it was beautifully cooked. The cod came in the form of what looked like commercially made breadsticks, I was prepared to be disappointed but they were absolutely wonderful. Perfectly cooked and the cod was fresh. Definitely five-star meal for me. But my partner had their omelette and hash browns. and unlike 90% of the other diners I go to nobody knows how to properly cook hash browns. Most diners. They come back slightly Brown and almost still cold. They're hash. Browns are absolutely beautiful. And omelet is probably the best my partners ever had. Definitely eat here. You won't be disappointed.
Server was wonderful. Had the clam chowder (amazing) & shared the Salmon & chips. She was fine with 2 grilled & 2 Deep fried. Can’t decide which one I loved more. Draft beer at happy hour was $4!. What a gem! Diner style. Too full to try the yummy looking desserts in the cooler. Highly recommend!
Fisherman's Restaurant is located on the road leading to the Crescent City Harbor. There is a gift shop upon entering the restaurant. On the walls, there was an interesting display of art and history. The Denver Omelet was good and was served with a side of hashbrowns. Portions were large. Parking was convenient. The menu seemed pricey, but it might be a California "thing" as we noticed a significant difference in cost from the Midwest.
Came in for breakfast, which was very good. Camping nearby and came in for happy hour- the cheddar bombs are incredible!! Oyster shooters were two large fresh oysters - yum and the loaded baked potatoes were good too. We will be back
It was quite busy when we got here today for lunch - and we had to wait around 10 minutes or so for a table to be made available. It was so worth the wait. Best clam chowder we’ve all had in the longest time - tasty and filling, the crackers were great too. My husband had fried oysters which he loved. Our new college graduate had the best calamari we’ve all had - perfect breading with the hugest calamari inside. The upgrade to parmesan for the french fries is worth the additional 2 dollars. My sis in law had the shrimp cocktail which she loved and brother in law had the mushrooms which was also perfect. This place offers real comfort food that is unpretentious and just plain delicious. A must-visit if you are in sleepytown Crescent City.
