Lillie’s Little Bakery

We got maple donuts and cinnamon rolls at this bakery and OMG they were the freshest, most perfectly balanced, light and fluffy but intensely flavourful treats that I've EVER eaten!! I don't even like donuts and I always find cinnamon rolls too sweet. But we polished these off in less than 2 minutes. Also the owner is the sweetest soul on the planet! She would totally win the British Bake Show, hands down if she were on it! It's a destination bakery for sure...I would literally drive 14 hours just to gorge on ALL the treats she bakes. They were pretty much sold out when we arrived in the morning because they're that good!!

It is a very tiny spot, possibly someones home. But do not let that distract you from possibly the best pastries you will ever have. I should have took more photos be for we dug in, but everything smelled so good! We got the blueberry fritter, apple fritter, maple doughnut holes and a cinnamon roll. Everything tasted fresh, there was no oily taste from old overused oil. The fritters are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with chunks of apple/blueberry in every bite, up there with some of the best i’ve had. But the maple doughnut holes and cinnamon roll sent my wife and I into orbit! The texture was there, the flavor was there. An absolute must try if you like doughnuts in the morning

Lillie’s Apple Fritters won first place in the prestigious Best Apple Fritter in the Universe contest - administered and judged by me! 😉 From east coast to west coast, I’ve tried them all, and had believed a little hole-in-the-wall joint in the Bay Area had the best apple fritters - until I met Lillie’s. Hers are far and away superior to even the most heavenly apple fritter you could even dream about. Life is too short to waste even another day without knowing Lillie’s apple fritters. The donuts are also simply perfection. Truly artisan treats you’d have to mortgage your house for anywhere else! (And super friendly folks!)

The type of adorable, hole-in-the-wall, great food everyone hopes to happen upon during vacation. Splendid! Blueberry fritters & maple glaze donuts were our fave. Well done, Lillie’s!

Fluffy, soft with just enough sweetness to their donuts. So, if that sounds good, do not wait any longer to go get some of these heavenly treats. Lillie and the guys are friendly and excited to see you. I can’t get enough of the cinnamon sugar donut holes. However, the apple fritter is a close second. I have tried them all and depending on what time you get there will determine your choice. So, get there early. I promise you won’t be disappointed with any treat from Lillie’s Little Bakery.
