FISHBAR

One of the best seafood options in the South Bay. Open since 1981 they specialize in seafood, but have a pretty large menu with all sorts of other options as well. Parking is really easy, there is a two-story parking garage across the street with metered parking or you can find a metered street spot. Inside is fairly large, complete full bar and many different table seating options. Our server was very polite and everything that we ordered came out very fast. For this visit I chose the Lobster Bisque to start and really liked it. It was well balanced and had some nice flavors. I did think it could have had more lobster meat in it, but still it tasted great. For my entrée I chose the Chilean Seabass and I thought it was amazing. Solo traveler wanting a great west coast raw experience. Oysters were fantastic. I ordered another 6 of the Hama Hama (light and sweet, low salinity,WA) as i am used to the briney NE ones. Scallops, delecate and garnished well. Same for salmon and the tuna dish. Fresh, nothing with aged fish taste. Roasted artichoke was delicious and fun to eat, the sauce was reminiscent of japanese white sauce. Felt the need to actually get a meal. Lobster roll was decent, any Northeaster would say otherwise (sorry) - i did just scrape the insides out after the first bite - (limited gastro room).Clam chowder was really good...very clammy and didn't get lost with the vegetables. Drinks...oh...each cocktails was skillfully made and presented (i was lucky to witness). Water glass never half empty and lit

Everything at this restaurant was phenomenal. The staff, including Erika, Samantha, and JC, were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, and we’re already planning to return soon to try more of their dishes. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Love this nice place! The food was amazing!! The server was really nice, such a cute vibe inside! For bar, date, or fam. They weren't racist against my fur baby as others are. Top seafood place near the beach. Will be back! 100$ on dinner for 2 tho😬

Delicious food, decent pricing for an area like the Palisades, and our server Bella was very sweet and attentive. Got a dozen happy hour oysters for $33, which tasted fresh and had zero sand grain. The house salad greens and salmon are crunchy, the tuna poke had a nice soy flavor, and the brussel sprouts and clam chowder were good as well. Brussel sprouts came with this amazing lemon dill cream sauce. The mule and daiquiri tasted great too! Would def come back!
