PITA & BASIL

I’ve been waiting months for this location to open and I got lunch there today. It was everything I hoped it would be. Flavorful, delicious Mediterranean food through and through. I got their pita wrap with chicken and it was awesome. That basil chimichurri? Chef’s kiss. And don’t even get me started on those falafel, some of the best I’ve ever had. You can really taste the herbs in them and it’s incredible. The service was great too, super nice staff. I took it to go but the location is decorated really nicely, good atmosphere. 5/5, definitely gonna be a repeat customer.

The gyro bowl was fresh, flavorful, and filling. The sauces were topnotch, especially the jalapeño cilantro. Next time, I’ll definitely get a side of sauce too! The dining area was clean, and the staff very friendly and welcoming. Overall, a great experience.

Pita and Basil is the best Mediterranean food place in the South Bay. I used to be a fan of Cava, but after coming here, the quality is just on another level. Everything tastes fresh, natural, and clean. It really feels like the food is coming from your own kitchen. They use real olive oil, and you can taste the difference. It makes the food richer and more authentic. The staff is always kind, helpful, and welcoming. They take their time and make you feel comfortable. It’s honestly a happy place. Highly recommend.

Hubby and I ordered to go. We both got bowls. I asked for half and half, chicken and falafel. I also opted for the pita that comes in the bowl as a choice. I got neither the falafel or the pita. Only discovered this once we got home. Really unfortunate, but the food is really tasty. Double check your order before heading home yall.

I love this place. It’s like a Mediterranean Subway. Pick your protein, vegetables, sauces. Way better than most pita places in the area. Staff is friendly and attentive. Only negative I can come up with is they’re closed on the weekends. I really want these guys to succeed. So I’ll just say highly recommended.
