Fish Tales

I really wanted to like this place. It has amazing views and a good vibe, but the food and service killed both. When we arrived we were told it would be about 55 minutes before we could be seated. That's fine as you can meander around the docks while waiting. 30 minutes later we were seated . During this time, there were plenty of tables open but they obviously had a staffing problem. We ordered our drinks and a couple of appetizers. We ordered the calamari and fried pickles. The calamari was overcooked, dried out, hard and flavorless. The fried pickles though were amazing. Good flavor, nicely battered, delicious. Most of our food came out at the same time except for our She Crab soup. It took another 8 minutes to get that and some mayonnaise for the childs cheeseburger. I ordered a Caesa

My second time visiting from out of town, Fish Tales never disappoints. I had the Blackened Tuna Bowl. Wow, just WOW!! The tuna bowl was amazing! The staff were friendly and service was great. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals. Extremely highly recommended!!

Best shrimp and grits I’ve had hands down! It was neat sitting down and enjoying a meal while watching boats be pulled out of the waters and loaded up! The crab was super fresh and great tasting as well! Pairing well with a nicely toasted bun and a special tartar sauce. All and all a great relaxing experience eating an excellent meal right next to the water.

Had a wonderful birthday brunch at Fishtales. The food was amazing. Always love the seafood dip and low country boil. It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon on the water. Our waiter, Landon, was great and made my visit more special with a slice of delicious cheesecake drizzled with raspberry sauce. Thank you Landon for taking great care of us!

Great seafood with a water view and awesome service! We ordered two of the shrimp baskets and shrimp and grits. We had an appetizer of hush puppies and honey butter. Everything was hot and fresh. Our server Dharma was great. She took care of everything we needed and was very friendly. $20 for the baskets (with 2 sides and hush puppies) and $18 for the shrimp and grits. We had 12 shrimp in the basket. Delicious! We definitely plan to go back.
