Philly's on the Hill Official

Philly’s on the hill was awesome! I had the half Philly cheesesteak with fries. Let me say I wanted the other half but wouldn’t be able to eat it. My wife had a half ham and cheese hoagie and had to take half home as well. The staff was great with their southern charm and the place was as clean as can be. If I’m in the area again, I will be back! Don’t bother going to the other fast food places. They don’t compare to Philly’s on the hill!!

We decided to try them out on Saturday afternoon and we were not disappointed. The food and service were great! I will say the sandwiches are HUGE and my husband and I split a whole Philly Steak and Cheese with onions, green peppers, and mushrooms, and had plenty to eat! The bread is fresh and the steak is perfectly seasoned. We ordered a side of onion rings and they were very good.

Really amazing little place to stop for a quick lunch or dinner! Food was perfect, and exactly what we were hoping for when we found them. I got the veggie philly and it was the absolute best! Took a bite before I took my photo :-)

Somewhat disappointing on my first visit to this little, “sorta hidden” spot for a great casual lunch. Unfortunately, they were out of hot dogs, and that was my craving at the time. Went with their specialty, a cheesesteak (I like em plain), and it was “good”. My date had chicken fingers and fries, which was also “good” and satisfying. Very clean, and friendly, establishment. Will definitely go again in search of a hot dog.

Hands down the best Philly cheesesteak I've had in Savannah. Forget those skimpy Subway subs where you have to pay extra just to taste the meat - this one was piled high and packed with flavor. (It was so loaded I couldn't even finish it and took the rest home for round two). The fries? Hot, crispy, and cooked to perfection. Absolute win. I'll definitely be back. Service was super fast despite everything being cooked fresh to desired specifications. Veteran owned & military themed, casual sandwich shop atmosphere, pleasant experience. Beer & wine available.
