Tacos El Charro

This place is located inside the gas station and has been awarded best tacos in 2025! It deserves it! The best Mexican food in RH hands down! Thanks to the sweet ladies that work there for their great service and for being patient with us in explaining what each food is. We ordered a bit of everything on their menu. Everything was above and beyond from the tacos to the sauces. The kids were hungry and couldn’t wait for me to take photos :) Will be back for sure for more and will tell everyone about this place ! Highly recommend!

Best Mexican food hands down. If you love great tasting food you should try their food. You are not going to regret it. I'm not from Savannah just driving through but if I ever pas through again I know where I'm eating.

Like many in town, me and friends stumbled on the place, and wow what a stumble! I’ve tried restaurant (some authentic) Mexican many times and just didn’t like it (but did like homemade dishes prepared by friends/family). However, this place won me over. The food is fresh and flavorful, also filling! In addition to stopping by for lunch, I’ve told several people about this place and they too have had great experiences. I’m pretty simple when it comes to my tacos — I ordered beef tacos with cilantro and onions with a side of pico and sauce. So so good!!

BEST MEXICAN FOOD I’VE EVER HAD! Detour every roadtrip to get food from here. Asada, chorizo, and pastor are all amazing. Highly recommend the nachos, tacos, and burrito. Haven’t tried the chicken but I’m sure it’s great. Ask for all house sauces.

Quite literally the best birria tacos I have ever had. I have been here numerous times and my order never changes. The employees are incredibly kind and they have you in and out. Best hole in the wall restaurant I’ve found in Savannah.
