Fish-a-licious

Best soul food I have ever had!!!!! Highly recommend if you like fairly priced, mouth watering soul food!! Placed a takeout order and it was done within 15 minutes. We got tilapia, chicken tenders, catfish, hushpuppies, okra, and jalapeño poppers. All of it was the best food I have ever eaten. The cashier was so kind and I loved the energy they put out!! This kind of customer service is hard to come by these days! I will be back tomorrow!!

Visiting from out of town and thought I’d try this place. It was the best soul food I’ve ever had. I placed an online order and the owner called me directly to help find a substitute for an item they ran out of. I order a lot of takeout and that’s the best customer service experience I’ve heard of. Im a big fan of hush puppies and these are now my favorite. I’d also recommend the tilapia, it was delicious.

I'm just gonna say that it's worth the drive from San Diego for the food. We had catfish and shrimp, fried okra, red beans and rice. Everything was delicious! Can't wait to make the drive again.

Excellent food, the fried shrimp are perfect! The red beans and rice I didn't like too sweet..shouldn't be. The catfish need to be cut into smaller stripes, the grey area of the catfish filet needs to be trimmed out of the raw filet during prep otherwise it tastes muddy. Just FYI from a southerner who owns catfish farms.

My husband and I enjoyed the catfish and shrimp. The portions are quite substantial. We also enjoyed our onion rings and the fried okra. He's usually a hush puppy fan, whereas I am not; however, these hush puppies I loved. They were very cakelike. We will definitely return to try other menu items.
