First Watch

First Watch. Fabulous food. My new “happy place.” Retirement lunch today with 12 from church. Charles, waiter/server, the most efficient, energetic, engaging and experienced. Handled separate orders correctly, quickly, kept us all smiling and satisfied. Pardon my play on words, but… First Watch. A perfect place for our small church group to gather for a “last lunch.” Happier and earlier than a “last supper!” T h a n k you.

They were not kidding about the size of the pancakes. Good difference in the food scene. Food was good. We enjoyed the potatoes, bacon and sausages the best. The black Lady who also sat us was extremely kind to find us good seats with good views and nobody rushed us out when it was 2:30

My favorite breakfast spot! Food is always great, comes out quick and fresh. Service was good, our server was very helpful and had great recommendations, the morning meditation and barbacoa tacos were delicious. Julandus the manager was vey attentive, kind, and professional. I highly recommend!

First Watch of Chapel Hill exceeded my expectation! Looking for a new breakfast spot in the area for my husband and I and we decided to give this place a try. I must say I was impressed with the food and the atmosphere but what really blew us away was the excellent service we received from the manager Julandus! He was so attentive and made sure that we were well taken care of. His professionalism is beyond anything I’ve ever seen in a breakfast restaurant that is typically busy during brunch hours. He rotated around the establishment checking on the kitchen, the front staff as well as the customers. We will definitely be returning to this location.
