Kolapasi Indian Canteen - Chapel Hill NC

These folks are truly THE NICEST!!! Upon entry I was greeted kindly. I was able to sample everything that ordered. It is an Indian canteen and the food is very flavor full and aromatic. They have a variety of options for your tray or bowl. Vegetarian options as well. I ordered a double curry plate with goat roast and nilgiri chicken. You can get rice or parotta bread. The service was simple and quick they have a kiosk option also foe ordering. The don't have a typical soda station, but water is free. The environment inside is very clean and refreshing. The decor is outgoing and fun. I have been several times midday and its never crowded. Would recommend you stop by if your on Franklin St if you want a great meal for a good price!!

Really great spot for flavorful Indian food at reasonable prices. Excellent service encouraging tasting dishes before ordering. Recommend Chicken Chukka and Tender Coconut Payasm.

Woww.. wonderful South Indian food long way from home.. felt like food from hometown. kP has two option 1) perfect blend of Spices if your taste buds loves heat.. 2) Aromatic but less heat food. Meat is slow cooked to perfection, tendor and juicy at every bite.

Excellent food! The taste before you buy method ensures everyone gets a plate they enjoy. Overall went here for lunch and was amazed with all the flavor from the food.

1st time here and love the food!!! Absolutely flavorful and a little bit of spice made it very tasty 😋. Will definitely return when I’m back in town. ❤️ Staff were very nice and accommodating.
