Firehouse Subs Middlebelt Road

Ordered from here yesterday from door dash. It was really good. Wished there was more meat tho. Dinner plans fell through so I figured why not again right? Orders same thing but extra meat with banana peppers. Got a mushy soggy mess and fell apart when I picked it up. With mayo and mushrooms added. I hate mayo (hence the soggy mess) and I’m allergic to mushrooms. (Believe me I learned this in my 20s with magic ones) Asked to speak to a manager on how to handle my messed up order. Duded sounded like he just smoked two blunts and couldn’t function. I asked who I was speaking to, the man said “carneial” refused to spell it out for me. I ordered 6 subs, 3 sub combos, and a gallon of unsweetened iced tea for a total of $94 through the Firehouse Subs app. I tried to use a 25% off $25 promo code, which should have saved me almost $25, but the promo would not work in the app. Since I was picking up my order at the Livonia, MI location, I went inside to explain the issue. I spoke with two employees, neither of whom could help because the order was placed through the app. One employee called the manager and told me I would need to wait 15–20 minutes for him to arrive. After waiting, the manager, Luke, told me there was nothing he could do because the app is handled by corporate and not the store. The last few times I’ve been here my order has been incorrect. The last order was a steak sandwich w/ extra meat and I barely got any steak at all. About 2 weeks ago I ordered a bbq Carolina, again with extra meat and instead of extra meat they for some reason just split the sub so it looked like extra meat, but brisket was on one side and the ham and turkey was on the other. Very odd! That said, I’m done with Firehouse for a min.

We placed a same-day catering order for subs at the exact time we needed them, and the service was excellent. The staff member who assisted us was extremely kind, attentive, and very quick. The subs were delicious and fresh — everyone enjoyed them. Highly recommend!

Phenomenal food, great price.. Best sub shop hands down.. Isaiah and Aubrey are always super kind and helpful.. Great place to eat!!! I recommend it every time..
