Firehouse Subs Edgewood

We got the Steak and Cheese subs and wow, to quote my husband “Those were some of the better cheese steak sandwiches I’ve had in awhile”. The peach coke is super good and the waitresses were friendly and helpful. I’d love to eat here again! Nice clean bathrooms as well.

We went to the south location which wasn't busy inside. My husband ordered a giant sandwich called the New York Steamer full of beef and pastrami. It was super meaty. I got a BYO Veggie with lots of olives. One kid got ham, the other turkey. The ladies working front of house were all very nice and helpful!

Always love their service and kindness! 10/10 would recommend Firehouse Subs! Back in October, we had them cater for our lunch for our wedding day and they did amazing! I’ve always loved coming here, great food, great service, kind people, and always a great time 😍

Good subs & friendly staff. However my real issue is the obnoxious open sign with the flashing bulb. Why do you have both of these flashing? The bulb is as bright as something similar to what you’d see on top of a firetruck (if this is purposeful, then it’s the most idiotic thing I’ve ever heard of) It’s such an extreme hazard to drivers on 56th, especially after dark. The flight is blinding and gets burned into your eyes. It used to be blue & that was still an issue however the daylight bulb in combination with another flashing open sign is bordering a public safety hazard.

I always enjoy the quality of the food and freshness of the food. The service is always the greatest! This Firehouse sub is the best of the two in Lincoln! :)
