Firebirds Wood Fired Grill

I was visiting for the night and wanted a really good steak, and this place came highly recommended — I’m so glad I went! I ordered the garlic thyme filet (9 oz) topped with garlic thyme butter and a port wine demi-glace, and it was cooked perfectly. So flavorful and tender. The parmesan mashed potatoes were rich and delicious, and the asparagus was cooked to perfection — not overdone, just right. I also added grilled shrimp, which were phenomenal and paired beautifully with the steak. My waiter, Travis, was attentive without being overbearing and had great drink and food suggestions. Overall, a 10/10 experience. I’ll absolutely be back the next time I’m in the area!

The food was quick and so good. The Colorado chicken salad is delicious with ingredients in every bite! We loved our server, Aisha. She was so personable, attentive, and efficient. She made the experience! I would recommended her and will be asking for her again. She was attentive to all her tables and gave each table her attention.

The host, Shanti was able to quickly sit my mother and I on a busy Sunday brunch. Our host, Tiffany, was a delight and very attentive in asking if we needed refills for our drinks. She immediately gave us bread and we ordered the lobster dip for our starter which was great. Our drinks came out quickly after ordering. My mom ordered the tuna salad, and I got the steak penne, both entrees were amazing and came out fast! Tiffany was able to convince us to get a dessert. We chose the chocolate brownie and crème brûlée cheesecake and all were very good! 5/5 would recommend coming here and asking for Tiffany as the server!

I don't know if our server, Melissa, needs more training or was having an off day. She kept forgetting to bring things out (lemons, drink, ketchup) & the timing of bringing food out was off. One person got their soup & ate it while we waited for our appetizer. We didn't even get ½ way through the appetizer when our meals came out...maybe 3 - 5 mins. Although the food was great, we decided not to get dessert there b/c we didn't want to stay for more sub-par service. What we ordered...Lobster Spinach Queso, Chicken Tortilla Soup, Ahi Tuna Superfoods Salad, Colorado Chicken Salad and Roasted Garlic Sirloin. (Plus some drinks) Like I mentioned, the food was great! Also, the atmosphere was nice...lively but not too noisy. You could still carry on a conversation w/o talking loud.

Food came out timely and in an acceptable period. They didn’t give me enough time with my appetizer. I got the meatloaf and it tasted like spam and it was a weird texture, the flavor was bland. Pretty much all the food besides the sliders was bland but oh well, I still enjoyed myself. I didn’t get to try their overpriced drinks because I was driving after but they had a lot of drinks and wine so maybe that would’ve made this experience 5 stars, who knows. My friend got some chicken burger and he said it was a 5/5 so you can get that if you’re feeling risky. The meatloaf was meh don’t get it.
