Fire on the Mountain Smokehouse

Feel like family here, everyone is nice and energetic. Great service on top of great food is always a plus for me. Will come back for bbq, because the breakfast was already so good. Highly recommend any omelet, they were ridiculously good. I don't love grits normally, but these were cooked very well and complimented the gator nicely. Wish the cornbread waffle was more cakey, but the flavor is perfect. Easy to park in the back and not super busy on a Saturday. A little pricey, but makes sense with the ingredients they use.

In my traveling we see this place on Google Maps. Doing a number of reviews on different places this place was very fair. This place is inside what I take is an inn. Nice little place with 9 tables? And a small 6 seat bar. There was some staff training going on. So Staff manager needs to do some self hygiene, pull up your pants and tighten your belt. New higher, crocks, Batman socks and hoodie might not be best practice as a wait staff. Food We were there to have breakfast. (That’s my family favorite meal of the day) Meal 1 French toast, eggs, home fries, side of brisket All fair but the brisket was not fresh not well seasoned. Home fries were pretty good Pancakes add chocolate chips Not lite and fluffy Egg Benedict & home fries Hollandaise was fair and ok not much to talk about.

Honestly me and my homegirl were looking online seen this place and gave it a shot . When I say it honestly exceeded our expectations our convo on the way home was about the 1. Food 2. Hospitality . The Chef came out and asked how everything was . Everything was great !! Especially The ALLIGATOR !! That Mac and cheese ?! Blackberry coleslaw ?! Don’t walk RUNNN ! Just save some space because This is our new spot officially ! We will be back 😋

We were just cruising around during the autumn season when we got really hungry, so I looked up nearby places and decided to stop here—and I’m so glad we did! The food was absolutely delicious; I haven’t tasted anything this good in a long time. It took a little while for our meals to come out, but it was worth every minute. The service was attentive, and the place was clean and welcoming.

Staff was hilarious and fun. The alligator Benedict by far was the tables favorite. We will definitely be back next time we are in Mass!!!
