Filter Coffee House

Awesome spot. Though I now live in L.A., I grew up in this little town, and this shop is cozy, well-run, and on par with any of the coffee houses in L.A.! My wife and I visited here recently when we were in Mississippi for the holidays, and absolutely loved it. The coffee is great--and so is the food. One menu item I highly recommend is the sloppy roast beef sandwich. (You may have to ask for it, because I don't think it's menu--not yet, anyway.) Overall, owner Dannon Durr, his wife, and all the staff are fantastic. Definitely worth visiting!

Great & fast service. The workers are very informal & to the point. The environment is outstanding inside, bathrooms clean, the WiFi is great for studying, and over all the quality of the coffee and food is 8/10. The price is worth it.

Warm, inviting, pleasant, quaint with stimulating smells of fresh food and coffee. Please please please visit Tonya and get a coffee or panini or any of the many menu items to choose from! I had the club panini with loaded baked potato soup and throughly enjoyed it like Tonya guaranteed I would!! Two thumbs up and will be visiting again and will eat in to take advantage of the comfy couches! Thank you Tonya!!

Coffee use to be so good but I dont know what happened. Who ever the main "barista" is they do not know how to brew coffee. It has a horrible taste to it.

Good place for coffee and to relax. Live music was pretty good but I don’t think they have it that often anymore
