Filiberto's Mexican Food

Very rude staff, questionable cleanliness, they don't use gloves, the cook touches his nose and ears, the restaurant smells, and it takes 20-30 minutes to receive your order. I was only picking up an order. I would never eat here. There is way better Mexican food to buy. Don't waste your money!

Honest Reviews This restaurant is located right off the main street into Bernalillo, NM. The restaurant is a good size, that offers a drive thru windows. I believe the restaurant is a chain. The menu offers a lot of options. I ordered a Ranchero burrito. Basically cubed steak meat with jalapeños and tomato sauce with potatoes. I asked for no potatoes. Surprisingly they didn't make the burrito smaller and did add more meat but charged more without letting me know ahead of time. The restaurant is old and not taken care of outside. I kind of pulled in because I didn't feel like eating McDonald's or any other regular fast food restaurant. But this restaurant turned out to be a Mexican fast food restaurant. Not bad but not a place you go out of the way to find.

Horrible customer service!! The short kid with the perm and highlights was very rude and likes to slam the window in your face while you’re talking. Over charged for cold food & dry tamales with no meat that took 15-20 minutes to prepare in the drive thru. I highly recommend taking the extra mile and going to the Filiberto’s in Rio Rancho instead they’re polite and the food is always fresh.

2024 update: It was just me and my family, so there was no one else here. We put in our order and it came out and the food was cold. The chips were cold. There were lights that seemed to be warmer lights, but they were not warmer lights. Our food was cold but it tasted okay. At least the service was good. The atmosphere is great. ================== We've been to several Filibertos, Albertos and other "bertos" restaurant chains. We love the food and enjoy the portions. However, not all of them have good service. Nevertheless, great food and good prices. Although I've noticed their prices have gone up exponentially since I was first introduced to them back in the late 90s. They are about the same price as a regular fast food establishment.
