Tio’s Kitchen & Patio

We came here on a cold winter night to be greeted by a super friendly staff. Unfortunately, their heater was not working and instead was blowing cold air. We ordered the quessabirria taco plates and a churro dessert. The tacos had a delicious flavor, and they were very generous with the meat. The consume was flavorful, not too salty with a rich flavor. The rice was good, a little dry but tasty. The beans tasted straight out of a can, I wasn't a fan and they definitely didn't taste homemade. Because it was so cold inside ( I ate with my winter coat on) the food got super cold really fast. Which took away from enjoying it. The dessert was good but the churros were cold and a bit hard. The horchata was not good, I would not get it again. It tasted watered down and like it was a powder. Over

When I was a kid, my mom made us cheese enchiladas. These were better. The green chili cheese was so fantastic.I was just in heaven every bite. That staff were amazing! We are going back!

If you love the Tio’s Kitchen food truck on the corner of Hwy 550 and Camino del Pueblo in Bernalillo, you’ll definitely enjoy this location. Came here because Los Tacos del Ray was closed, and the wife and I were craving Birria. Tio’s kitchen was there. They did not let me down. They were 15 minutes away from closing, and let me place my to go order at least. Waiting for the order, I enjoyed the music, the decorations, and had my order in less than 5 minutes. When I brought it home, it was everything we wanted. Cheesy Birria, cilantro and onions, and some Tres Leches cake to round out the meal. When it comes to authentic food, great atmosphere, and outstanding service, Tio’s Kitchen has got you covered.

First time visiting and had a wonderful experience. The quality of the food is excellent and very tasty. This is now part of our regular places to visit. Highly recommend!!
