Cheba Hut "Toasted" Subs

We were here for the weekend and decided to try something different. We saw good Google reviews so we stopped in. I had the KGB sandwich with roast beef and horseradish. It was very good. My wife also liked her sandwich. Service was professional and courteous. Atmosphere was full of colorful artwork. If you're not bothered by depictions of joints, weed, marijuana, etc, it's an entertaining place to eat.

We ordered inside for to-go at approximately 1600 on 28 Feb and it was our best visit yet, thanks to the very friendly ladies that welcomed us and especially the one from whom we ordered. We went back up to order treats before heading out with our order 'cause we couldn't resist those crispies, and she was the sweetest ever. Our subs, The Kind and G-13, were perfectly delicious, the pretzel nugs were even better than usual (how?!), and the treats were exactly what we'd hoped. WE LOVE CHEBA!! Our dinner pick-up on 6 Feb was awesome as always - delicious and made well sandwiches and pretzel nugs, and a friendly face at the counter. We can't get enough Cheba Hut! We came here for lunch on November 24th. Surprisingly, we got our food very quickly. The sandwiches were pretty good and like other locations we've been too, they are a little overpriced. Parking is limited, so hopefully they will finish paving the rest of the open area.

Can't decide what my favorite part of this place was: delicious vegetarian options, quick and friendly service, beers on tap, spectacular art and decor, or the view of Sandia Mountain and the river.
