Fernando's Méxican Restaurant

Marina is an awesome person with a great personality, makes you feel welcomed every time we go. This is our go to spot on the way home from UCSF every time. Their food is delicious and great portions.

The food wasn’t bad, but nothing was exceptionally great. The quesadilla was good but not cut into triangles. Carne Asada taco was also good, they charge like $3+ extra for that meat. It came with a chicken and cheese soup that was amazing. We did wait a while for our check. Waiters were really nice.

Very good food. It was a little dark inside...but added to the old mom n pop feel...like the Godfather. 😀 Loved the tasty chili and cheese toppings. A lot of food served. Huge portions. Good crunch on the chips. We are from Texas and eat Mexican food about 3 to 4 times a week. This is good Mexican food. Worth the stop and a neat area away from the big city of San Francisco.

Food tastes amazing, the server was very helpful as well as polite, and the decor throughout the resteraunt is beautiful. There is a divider in between the bar and the dining area. Overall, the environment is clean, yet the tables are a little sticky. Nice music too

I love the homey feel inside and the unassuming feel outside of the restaurant. The waitresses know regular customers which is a nice thing to watch. And the menu is quite varied and includes specials, salads, and combination deals.
