Definitely a place to stop off at while, heading in or leaving Coushatta casino when you're in the area. On my first visit I enjoyed the fried seafood platter (fish, shrimp) that came with your choice of fries or🌶red beans & rice, delish coleslaw, and a roll. It wasn't greasy and it was Fabulously delicious 😋. On my 2nd visit I had the 🌶Crawfish gumbo. And yes it made my nose run a bit, but I didn't mind that. My wife had the Crawfish Po-boy. Aside from having to add a bit of salt to my gumbo it was very good. Looking forward to trying their sausage and shrimp gumbo next time. Guess that sums it up, we're heading back... Driving Back to Texas from the casino & we stopped at this place. Oh my so glad we did! The catfish AMAZING. I got the fish po’ boy & it’s huge! My mom got the seafood platter and her Cajun rice was just delicious! Definitely worth the stop. Workers are also EXTREMELY kind!

Southern hospitality was top notch. First visit 3-7-26 Food was on point. Hot, tasty, and plentiful. You now have a repeat customer from Lafayette, La when I'm in this area. Glad you were recommended and I definitely will recommend to others. Great job.

My family and I frequentFaustos many times a year as we pass through Kinder .We have always been satisfied until today, February 9, 2026. We ordered seafood platters with fish, shrimp and oysters. We have had oysters our whole life in South Louisiana. The oysters were very bad they tasted bitter. We told the young man that waited on us, who was very nice that the oysters were bad and inedible. He conveyed the message to the manager and offered us more oysters, which we had already told him we did not want. The manager made him put it on our table anyway. We felt like as a good manager/owner he should have come out and apologized for the oysters, but he did not. He sent the young man out to talk with us, which he tried hard to fix the problem and was very respectful to us. I believe from no

I tried this for the first time and ordered the chicken sausage gumbo. Taste was typical,.... But the chicken was 2 giant chunks that I needed a knife and fork to cut up. The sausage was cut into but size slices. The gumbo itself was thin tasteless broth with under cooked rice.. I won't order that again. Sorry,, but really disappointing. The indoor of the place is nice,,, giant alligator and a dozen other stuffed animals. Wish they had real silverware and not land full plastic junk.
