They immediately recommended Fatt Root which was less than 3.0 miles away. Fatt Root is essentially an Asian Fusion Kitchen that is a simple, casual, and cozy eatery with great food, drinks, and beverages served in a beautiful and comfortable dining and bar area. Enjoyed my dinner here Friday night. I started with a refreshing hibiscus iced tea and the chicken dumplings in a spicy peanut chili oil - both really tasty. For my main dinner, I ordered the Spicy Crunchy Zesty Chicken bowl, which wasn’t not very spicy, but still very flavorful and delicious.

We got the curry noodles, beef pho and Malaysian flatbread. Over all amazing flavors, you will leave stuffed and with leftovers! The curry noodles are jam packed with flavor, they are not spicy! They originally come with thick chicken pieces, but I substituted it with tofu. I would recommend to add lime and tahini( so good it is seasoned so well) Malaysian flatbread was okay they change the recipe and change the flatbread, I think it wasn’t for the better. It supposed to be a peanut curry, but lacked the peanut flavor. It seemed like all they did was add peanuts. The pho was yummy they use 2 cute of beef (one better than the other) although it could use more noodles. We added a bit of chili oil and it was amazing. I visited this restaurant for dinner on a Saturday with my family. We had a great time. The bar service was very good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was tasty and fresh. I really enjoyed the spicy beef noodles—they were full of flavor. The portion sizes were big enough to make us full. There is also outdoor seating, which is nice if the weather is good. This is a great place to come with family. I recommend it for a fun and relaxing meal.

edited: I tried the gunpowder shrimp noodles today and it was phenomenal! it’s a stir fry noodle bowl with seasoned shrimp. A little spicy but not too much but it’s addictive! I had the Thai curry noodle soup with chicken and it was awesome! Unlike other noodle soup at other restaurants, their chicken has flavors! it has been marinated, grilled (or fried?) then put in the soup. the broth is rich and delicious, a bit of a kick but not overly powerful. I love the pickled muster greens and crispy fried noodles that gave it a crunch. Overall, I was very happy about it. Will come again to try other stuff.
