Farmhouse Tap & Grill (Burlington VT)

One of my favorite lunch spot in downtown Burlington. This establishment always have my favorite Allagash White Maine brewery on tap iced cold. Had the Laplatte River Angus Farm Beef 🥩 Burger. Excellently cooked to medium. Ordered with extra bacon 🥓 of course. Nicely paired with Raging Rabbit appetite 🐇 side of green salad 🥗 mix. Fine dining for a hard working contractor y’all. ❤️😎❤️😎❤️

I’ve always had a great experience at farmhouse, tap, and Grill! Whether outside on the patio being served by friendly and capable bartenders, or sitting in the dining room enjoying delicious locally sourced food with delightful cocktails I always feel comfortable and enjoy my dining experience. Great decor and an energetic vibe with terrific service and delightful food!

We arrived a few minutes before our reservation and our table wasn’t ready, so we went outside for a drink. The bartender was friendly and made good drinks! Started out strong here, but then went down hill quickly. About 20 minutes later our table was ready. We headed inside and sat down. The server came over and gave us water but didn’t say hello or introduce themselves. About 10 minutes or so later, they came back and asked if we were ready to order. No offer to grab us drinks still so my one friend asked for a drink while placing her order. Our food came out about 20 minutes later (with an appetizer in between) and my friend ordered rigatoni and the plate came out with NO pasta on it. Great food when we came to Vermont for the day! We ordered their onion rings as well ( not captured) but it was also fantastic! Friendly service!

The drinks and the atmosphere were both excellent; it is Vermont, after all. I always find the atmosphere delightful when visiting Vermont. I enjoyed the fries; they were warm, fresh, and crispy. My burger was cooked perfectly, although the caramelized onions were actually pickled onions, and the cheddar cheese lacked sharpness. My husband's burger was good, and he enjoyed it. He tasted my burger and agreed that it didn't quite meet my expectations.
