This family-run Jamaican restaurant is something special. The moment you walk in, the aromatic smells and vibrant atmosphere make you feel like you’re right in Jamaica. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff is incredibly friendly and hospitable — they treat you like family. I appreciate that they offer samples and help you choose from their great variety of dishes. You can genuinely feel the love and pride in everything they do. This place is easily in my top five restaurants. If you’re looking for authentic Jamaican flavors and a warm, welcoming experience, this is the spot. Highly recommended. Family Flamez is the GOAT. I live in Philly now and have tried to find other restaurants that make a better oxtail and it’s no comparison. This is the best Jamaican place on the eastern seaboard. When you’re here you’re family. Give them your money now! It’s not too spicy it’s called flavor. The meat is fall off the bone. Fried chicken is mind blowing, portions are plentiful. There is an Artist at work in that kitchen and we should all bow down. Period.

INCREDIBLE FOOD!!!! Loads of vegan options. I walked in and got a spinach patty and plantains and it took me right back to my time in Trinidad and Tobago. The flavors are bang on and super authentic, just overall fantastic flavor. I need to try more of their items; they have a great selection of vegetarian options like curries and every main comes with rice!!! I bet everything is delicious. This place is it. So upset I found it as I’m leaving Bridgeport but grateful I found it at all! The service is super easy and everyone was really nice, too!

I have lived in CT for the past 8 years and have always been searching for a great Jamaican Restaurant. Look no further!!! I found it today!!! Family Flamez Restaurant in Fairfield, CT, is the best Jamaican Restaurant in ALL of CT. I bought a medium Oxtail with rice and peas. After the first bite, I don’t know what happened, because the plate was empty in a flash. Luckily I bought a Festival and I used it to wipe up every last bit of the gravy, it was that good!!! If you’re ever in CT and looking for authentic Jamaican Cuisine, Family Flamez is the place to go. Sorry no photos to display because the food was gone before I knew it. Compliments to the Chefs!!!!
