Famille

We received a gift certificate to Famille, not knowing what to expect, we scouted the menu and made our reservation. Short story - a wonderful place for a night out. We sat by the wood burning fireplace for ambience, mellow and soft music was enjoyable but not loud to disturb conversation, the food was incredible and steaks cooked to perfection - medium rare was medium rare! Small, but well selected wine bottle list. The service was excellent, it was a quiet night, but our server gave us 5 star service throughout the night. Menu is ala carte, sides are all large and shareable, prices for the quality are lower than other higher end steakhouses in Bend and Redmond. Highly recommend this place for your next night out.

Whether you are doing a pub crawl, looking for amazing cocktails, or simply a place to sip on a drink before dinner, Familee is the place in try in Sisters. The bar has a 70’s disco feel and the cocktails are spectacular, and this comes from someone who has a son that is a mixologist. We enjoyed an hour or so in the bar before heading to the other side of the restaurant for one the best tasting ribeye’s we’ve ever experienced. The pepper sauce for the steak was great on all of our side dishes (potatoes and carrots). The staff was super friendly and even convinced us to staff for dessert where we enjoyed a specialty cocktail. A similar meal at an equivalent restaurant in Bend will cost you double. Do yourself a favor and plan your next date night at Familee. It is well worth it!!

Service was so so so good! Timed perfectly as they were so nice! The decor is not what I would call eclectic, as another reviewer said. I liked the decor when it was Chops better, it was warm and cozier. But who cares? We are here for the food :) BUT- The drinks were delicious though a bit small, but the bartender must be highly trained because the drinks were superb and better than many places we frequent. My pistachio halibut was not served warm (ick) and frankly it was rather bland, though the cherry orange sauce helped. I love halibut and will pay the price for it, but this was disappointing. I also love French opinion soup, and I love salt, but this was so salty I could not finish it. The rib eye was to die for! Cooked perfectly and the flavor so good we didn't even need the pepper sa

We were able to squeeze in a reservation and were seated at the end of a long table shared by other people. We didn't realize how popular this place would be or we would have made reservations sooner to get a table to ourselves but it really wasn't a huge deal. We ordered the steak bites as an appetizer which was to die for, literally so tender and flavorful it was like biting into heaven. I ordered a spicy cocktail which was delicious but surprisingly small for the price (which was $15). For our main course we shared the grilled halibut which was also great. I really loved the eclectic interior design and the service as well as the food. Overall a great spot for dinner, hope to return for some more steak bites in the future!

Was excited to see what the new ownership did with the place. Love the art deco design of the bar. It's nice to bring in a fresh aesthetic to Sisters. The drinks were great, the food was really good, and our server was very pleasant to chat with. Looking forward to going back and hope Famille will be around for a long time!
