This is going to be accurate, bt admittedly biased based on the surrounding conditions. I had the country fried steak meal. The gravy was OK. The mashed potatoes were perfect. The country fried steak was way over fried. The coating was burnt, but also the thing was fried in very used oil. The Mrs had the roast beef dinner. Her baked potato was just ok. Her roast beef, though piled high (a more than generous portion), it was mostly gristle and the end of the days very dried out (to being to tough to cut or chew) shoe leather. The best dish of our meals would be the fresh dinner rolls. Nothing extraordinary about them at all; just a good dinner roll. The gentleman that greeted us outside as we approached was generously amiable to a fault, but hurriedly verbally shuffling us into the esta

No complaints whatsoever this place is a bit of nostalgia and a blast from the past. To my amazing that they had the original 1972 business directory listed up front. The Route 66 gem and the food was cheap and good

This was the worst food I’ve ever had in my life. We ordered a burrito and fried beans — the beans tasted like they came straight from a can and were just microwaved. The rice looked like it was scraped from the bottom of the pan, dry and unappetizing. The burrito was nothing but beans and rice, with barely any flavor. The meat was incredibly bad — tough, chewy, and impossible to enjoy. We gave this place a try by chance, but honestly, stay far away. Just a friendly piece of advice.

Found the Falcon restaurant on the way out of Winslow. Saw the corner and we were starving. What luck! They had a board with the special on it. The sweet waitress asked for our drink orders and returned with them quickly. My wife ordered the fish dinner. I ordered the usual. (1st time there!) She kindly laughed and said she'd remember next time. I ordered the posted special. Ribeye steak choice of potatoes and salad. It came to the table hot, done as ordered and was a great sized portion. Steak slightly tuff nothing unexpected and it was delicious, never used the steak sauce provided. Wife liked the good sized 3 pieces of fish. It was a pleasant experience and we will return.
