Fairfield Public Library

People of Fairfield - you don't realize what an amazing town and library you truly have. We signed up for your summer reading challenge by mistake, thinking it was the Fairfield County Public Library near to us. We realized our error and let your library staff know, and they graciously allowed us to participate anyways. More than that - when I called and spoke to Claudia, she made sure that we would be welcomed warmly when we came to visit your amazing town. Phillip was wonderful, and we were sad he didn't want to have his picture taken with us. Thank you all so much for allowing us to have such a fun adventure and trip!

I absolutely love the Fairfield Public Main Library! I’ve been going to this library since I was little, and it holds so many memories for me. The librarians are extremely friendly, and always willing to help! The book selection is incredible, and there are many books available online as e-books and audiobooks on apps like Libby, also. The programs they run at the library are so community focused and available for kid/teen/adults. I am personally involved in the chess club, and I find it to be always very friendly and open. Some other amentities include: - computer access - study rooms that can be booked for up to 2 hours - book bags for kids - board games - video games - movies (dvds) - books for sale - a playground on the children’s level - an entire teen room/area - and more!!!! Hope y

This library is awesome. I stop by here pretty often. Great book selection and very friendly and helpful librarians. Ask if you need a charger :)

I’m a local business owner (Rolling Suds Power Washing of Fairfield-Westchester) and I’m always lookin for places to get some work done between meetings with our customers. Fairfield’s library is my go-to every time I’m in town. It’s quiet, well-lit, and great wifi! Awesome spot to get some work done.

Love this library!! The kids section and study rooms are top notch. Also exceptional programming. They have about 8 of these rooms, which can reserved for 2 hours.
