Fair Lawn Roadhouse

I ordered the Pastrami Loaded Burger cooked medium via doordash and I was super excited. The hamburger was well done and dry as can be. I felt like I was eating a rubber biscuit - that's a Blues Brothers reference. And the pastrami was not loaded and it was not pastrami. It was like leftover bits of what was once pastrami added on top of the burger. Not going to order here again. PS - the french fries were really good but that's not a meal.

No table service. Yummy kosher meat items. Steak, chili, fries, smoked meat. Wonderful. Was enjoying eating so much didn't feel like taking pictures. Special mention that the candied Beef Jerky Appetizer is amazing. The French fries are awesome. The chili rocks and the steak was wonderful.

Ordered the burnt ends and country fried steak. A bit on the pricey side but you get 2 sides with each. The sides weren’t bad, except the green beans were undercooked. The entrees were rough. Very dry. The burnt ends just tasted like the sauce that was served with them. Tough to eat. The country fried steak was also very dry and bland. Overall, disappointed, as we were hoping to have a go to spot for decent bbq. Maybe we caught them on a bad night?

I used Roadhouse to cater my son's Bar Mitzvah a few weeks ago, and they KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK. People were RAVING about the food- it was delicious, fresh, and abundant. We fed 70 people on Friday, 80 people on Saturday, and had light bites for the whole community Friday night- 3 meals, all catered to perfection. I can't recommend Roadhouse enough for your next simcha, all of our guests LOVED it and it truly enhanced our weekend.

We had the Roadhouse Ripper, Roadhouse sandwich and the loaded nachos, among other things. They were all tasty and good portion sizes. My son had the hot turkey sandwich which he promptly gobbled up and the youngins had burgers. Will return.
