A little truck on Grand and Suffolk Street that serves up pretty solid tacos! All of them are $4 - they got pollo, bistec, carnitas, vegetables, chorizo, cecina, carne enchilada, and pastor. I tried the carnitas and pastor and both were good! Pastor was flavorful and had a good amount of pineapples. The carnitas were pretty tender. And for the price, they definitely gave a good amount of meat. Since he adds guac on top, it doesn’t really need any sauce. I tried the green one and it was just too spicy for me!

Fabis Tacos D.C. food cart is serving up tacos, burritos, tortas, and more in the Lower Side on the corner of Grand and Suffolk Streets. typically parked from lunchtime til about 6 pm on most weekdays —and a little later on Fridays and Saturdays. the cart is well-maintained and superclean. stopped by here and grabbed a chorizo burrito and it did not disappoint. the flour tortilla was packed with chorizo chopped on the grill, rice, beans, cheese, lettuce, and sour cream. the burrito tasted so fresh and each ingredient added its own texture and flavor. the burrito was ample in size and was super-filling. it’s awesome that food truck / cart culture is expanding and really put out quality eats in different neighborhoods. Fabis is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. chorizo burrito, $10 +

The truck serves hefty tacos that double as a meal, with warm tortillas and tender meat that falls apart at the touch. The crew works fast and stays friendly, proving that speed and quality coexist in harmony.

Pretty good chorizo breakfast burrito. Meat has a memorable spice to it. Not HUGE, which was good for a meal. Cash or Zelle only. Speedy service, while you wait. No rice.

I highly recommend trying out Fabis Tacos! You won’t be disappointed! The food is delicious and fresh. I promise you won’t go anywhere else after trying them out!
