Just happend to pop over after a sport event at PEA. Used to come to Sawbelly so it was cool another brewpub took the space. We were told its the same chef too. The vibe with today's music is 10/10. Love the mix of pop/rock from 70s and 80s. Service was excellent. Hannah is a gem. Food: Shrimp/crab Wonton was a miss for me. Chicken tenders were awesome. Great batter and spice. The sesame bun on the burger was not for me. Very overpowering. Fries were solid 11/10 crispy and salty. Beers: Had 2 orders of random assortment of flights. The porter was a total sleeper. Pair it with the creme brulee, I dare you. It was epic. Surprised by Eagle Rare availability. Had to get a few fingers, neat. Can't wait to come back in summer and sit outside at night!
Came on a busy Sunday evening. Place was packed. We did get seated right away, with a toddler. Seemed like a lot of locals love the place and I understand why. The food is delicious and beautiful. It was clean. Staff was friendly and attentive. Table was quite small though for 2 adults and a toddler. Food came out quick after the appetizer so it left little to no room on the table and made it hard to not only eat but we felt rushed. Lastly and most disappointing was that my Brulee was not set inside. Our waitress said oh that looks watery and not done. I said it was not done by any means. Yet she did not take it off the bill or offer anything else. Glad it didn't make me sick!
The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious. It was our first time visiting, and we will definitely be back . The beer selection is really good. They also serve wine and mixed drinks. The menu items are very well portioned, and everything arrived at the perfect temperature. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor sitting areas.
Amazing food and service!! Got our table quickly and our server was so kind and helpful. The braised short rib was spectacular and totally caught me off guard! Would 100% recommend to anyone who lives or is visiting in the Exeter area!!
Went on opening night and it was incredible! Had a flight of 4 juicy IPAs, as well as the chicken tenders & braised short rib! I could literally eat the short rib everyday it was outstanding. You'll probably see me here once a week! 😍 The staff and owners are very friendly too. 10/10.
