Try the cucumber appetizer and the fried bok choy- holy smokes- just those 2 alone made us come back 2 nights in a row. The 1st night I had pad thai- not super authentic flavor. It was a bit too sweet and not quite accurate for thai preparation. The next night we had soups- the broths were very bland unfortunately. We ordered the wonton and thai noodle soups- both broths lacked a lot of depth and flavor. But their cucumbers and bok choy were so delicious, plus their servers were so awesome!
Ordered Duck Noodle Soup, Tan Tan Ramen, Chicken Karaage, Thai Iced Tea. They were all amazing!! The duck was crispy and tender, broth was flavorful, didn’t love the sauce for chicken karaage, but the chicken was crunchy. Definitely worth a visit, would recommend going with a smaller group as there is limited table seating and the space is small.
I had an amazing and authentic-tasting duck noodle soup here! The broth was flavorful and the egg noodles had a great texture. The food here is a little pricey, though, so it’s more like a treat than an everyday thing. The restaurant is quite small, and the bar seating is kind of uncomfortable. I hope that they’ll expand and have a more comfortable setup!
We sat down to eat the Oba ramen with pork and the tofu nam daeng, and for drinks the hot green tea and chrysanthemum tea. We also got a Thai iced tea with boba to go. The restaurant is cozy and we loved the beautifully ornate mugs and bowls. Everything tasted amazing, the perfect hot meal on a cold February day! We brought a takeaway menu back so we could give a recommendation to family. Next time we are in town we are definitely coming back here!
The taste was average and honestly didn’t justify the high prices. The portions were okay, but for what you’re paying, I expected much better flavor and overall experience. It wasn’t bad, just nothing special — definitely not worth the price point. If you’re looking for really good ramen, I would highly recommend Ramen Club instead. Their Tan Tan noodles are excellent — rich, flavorful, and absolutely worth it.
