Evviva Trattoria Rochester

Excellent flavorful food choices, great staff, great spot! It was actually pretty hard to pick what to eat as everything just sounded so good. Lasagna frittata was very yummy and the Italian street fries, made of eggplant, were surprisingly good and not mushy like eggplant normally is (but the batter and sauce did some heavy lifting). The chicken Florentine soup was weirdly to me the star of everything we had for flavor: you could taste the different individual ingredients, it was so good. Lobster ravioli and the shrimp and scallop risotto were nice and creamy although I wish their flavors would have been more pronounced.

Went there for the first time for take out, the food was awful. when I picked up the food, the staff was super friendly. My issue isn’t with the staff - it’s with the awful food, the portions, and the packaging fee? On an already overly priced to go order. $75 for a pizza, pasta dish, and a wings. Pizza was as thin as a potato chip, barely had any sauce and half of it was burnt. Chicken cutlet had no breading when I asked for “ no melted cheese or ricotta” and our wings were gross and hard. I’ve already filled out a review through the website and I’m hoping to hear back.

Finally made our way to try this place! Stopped in for lunch and we were seated quickly. Service was great, Iris took care of us! Overall vibe was nice good music and the establishment was clean. We got the Evviva club and the buffalo chicken wrap both delicious. Homemade chips were an added bonus. Finished our meals with the tower of Pisa dessert. Overall great food and experience. Fairly priced and efficient staff. Will definitely be back!

Gluten free options are good. Much better than other places. I did try their regular “neopolitan” pizza and it really was not good. Definitely not a hot enough oven, or the dough is not using the correct ingredients. One of the worst pizzas I’ve ever had from a place that isn’t a chain.

I’ve been here a few times now and each time I have it enjoyed it!! Michelle has been our waitress twice and she is so kind, responsive, and genuine!! I recommend the tiramisu desert to everyone as it’s to die for!!! They also have a wide range of alcohol beverages which can be quite tasty!!
