The flavor here is amazing. Green Curry I highly recommend! I don’t eat meat so my orders are custom. The Vegetable Green Curry is out of this world. It’s extremely satisfying. I get spice on the side. I also love the fried rice and I get it with yellow curry powder. All my orders are custom no meat.
I ordered the Gra Pao from here by Doordash. It was alot of rice and not much of the Gra Pao in a normal size takeout container. It cost $18. In the description in the menu on Doordash there is no mention of rice. There are other items on the menu that list rice as an ingredient. I specifically ordered it because I did not want rice. The rice is regular rice not jasmine rice. The food tasted okay, nothing special. I can get more food for less money at other Thai restaurants in the area.
Gotta start by saying the food was great! Delicious and prepared well. Could have been a tad spicier. But great food overall. Dinner was about $60 per person before tip. Service was bad. We sat for an hour before our apps were served and another 45 minutes for our main course. Other people were being served and takeout was going out. So maybe there was a mix up in the kitchen. I have to assume this because the reviews of this place are all five stars. If in the area again i will definitely give it another shot. We all agreed that the food being good was almost worth the wait... Almost.
I got chicken satay based off of a photo I saw in the reviews, it tastes pretty good...the problem lays in the portion sizing though. And the fact that i paid 5 dollars for a canned horchata (that i thought was going to be fresh) and 18 dor a chicken satay meal the size of my hand. Ill leave a photo of what I thought i was getting versus what I got down below
#2 of 3 Thai restaurants in Rochester. Came here a couple of times before dining in. Service was continually lackluster. Stopped by this time for a carry out order. Although it was an average late Spring day I was happy to not be dining in as the dining room was hawt. This was the best iteration of Drunken Noodles we’ve had here. The Appetizer Sampler was the surprise of the meal and was quite good.
