I hate leaving poor reviews on businesses, so I want to highlight how delicious, and worth every penny our cake was! However, my son endured the worst service after calling and asking to pick his cake up later in the day; the person on the phone said that the store closed at 10pm and that he could grab it anytime before then. It turns out they closed at 9pm that day and he waited outside for 20 minutes in the cold last night, because the workers that were closing the store wouldn’t open the door. They made eye contact with him, then pretended he wasn’t there. All that was necessary was walking up to the door to say “Sorry, we’re closed”, and he could have explained the situation. I recently ordered the Liz Lemon cake from Empire Cake for a birthday celebration, and I couldn't be more pleased. The cake was absolutely delicious, moist, flavorful, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. You can really taste the quality ingredients and care that went into making it. From placing the order to pickup, the process was smooth and professional. The staff was friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better.

Great bakery, nice place to sit and really nice treats. Attentive staff as well. Will be back!
