Customer Reviews
A decent spot for a quick bite, offering both dine-in and takeout. The food overall is alright, I tried the lunch special braised pork with rice, which was just okay, but their shrimp dumplings are absolutely amazing! I highly recommend getting those. The service is a bit hit-or-miss; the person cooking and serving wasn't very warm until after I tipped, haha. Overall, not a bad place if you're looking for a fast, casual meal.
I had really tasty mapo tofu at Emperor Dumpling. The order came in a disposable container, so the tofu was on the top separate from the rice, which I appreciated. It made it easier to eat. It was also very spicy, so I highly recommend for anyone who enjoys spicier dishes. We also ordered the Hong Kong roast duck soup which was also very good. The steamed shrimp dumplings were pretty tasty, but they are very Americanized, featuring green peas in the filling. The interior is very much like a fast food setting with customers getting to choose their own seats. Overall, it was a good meal, on the slightly cheaper side for Midtown.
5star for service and atmosphere!! Even it's self-service ordering via the kiosk, they will bring the food to you. Whole place is clean and comfy. Pork cabbage dumpling is good but fried rice just mediocre
Not sure how this place got 4.7 stars. None of the soup buns had soup in them the fried rice which is $3 extra is trash, the chicken dumplings had an off flavor and the orange chicken tasted like they made it in a microwave. Good view of the street but that’s it.
Not busy when we went for lunch. Ordered on the tablet. Food was decent and price was reasonable. It’s all disposable dishes. I would come back for quick cheap eats.
